Sell Dexion Racking
Also known as: Dexion Speedlock, Dexion P90, Dexion Impex
Dexion is the brand we are asked about most, and the one we buy most of. Because so much of it was installed across UK industry, second-hand demand is consistently strong — which is good news if you have it to sell.
How to identify Dexion racking
One of the oldest and most widely installed racking names in the UK — Speedlock, P90 and Impex systems are still working in thousands of warehouses.
- Beam end connectors are usually a welded plate with punched hooks that drop into the upright and lock with a spring clip or a safety pin.
- Speedlock uprights have a repeating pattern of keyhole or teardrop-shaped slots down the front face of the column.
- Look for the Dexion name stamped, embossed or printed on the beam face or on the frame footplate — it is often still legible under dust.
- Frame bracing is typically bolted rather than welded on older Speedlock systems, which makes it straightforward to dismantle and stack.

Typical sizes and specification
- • Beam lengths commonly 1,800mm, 2,250mm, 2,700mm and 3,300mm
- • Frame depths commonly 900mm and 1,100mm
- • Frame heights from around 2m up to high-bay 12m+

Compatibility
Dexion components are not interchangeable with most other manufacturers. Never mix beams from another brand into a Dexion frame — the connector geometry differs and the published load ratings no longer apply.

Yes. Older Speedlock is still in demand for extensions and repairs to existing installations, which is exactly why it holds value.
Is mixed-height Dexion still worth selling?
Yes, though matched runs of the same height and beam length are worth more per bay than a mixed collection of odd sizes.
What if some frames are damaged?
Damaged uprights and footplates reduce the offer but rarely kill the deal — sound beams from the same system still have value. Send photos and we will price it honestly.
