How the job runs
1. Count bays
Bay count, levels per bay, shelf type and rough dimensions is all we need to price it.
2. Offer
Priced per bay, with the collection included.
3. Strip and stack
Shelves out, frames broken down, stacked and banded on pallets.
4. Load and pay
Loaded and paid on collection.
Safety, compliance and paperwork
- Dismantling is carried out by crews trained under the SEIRS (Storage Equipment Installers Registration Scheme) framework.
- A risk assessment and method statement (RAMS) is produced for the site before work starts, and shared with your responsible person.
- We work to PUWER and Work at Height requirements, using MEWPs or towers rather than climbing racking.
- Any genuinely scrap material leaves under a waste transfer note so your duty of care under the Environmental Protection Act is documented.
- The site is swept and handed back clear — no beams left in a corner for your landlord to find.

Is used shelving worth anything?
Complete, dry, undamaged runs are worth a real per-bay figure. Wet chipboard and incomplete frames are not, and we will say so.
Can you take shelving and racking in one visit?
Yes — combining equipment on one collection nearly always improves the offer.
